Update:
The Mission
My name is Aarav Parmar. I just turned 13 in Feb, in 7th grade and I love to play football and ice hockey. This March, I will be trekking about 80 miles over 12 days to reach Everest Base Camp. I am dedicating this climb to raising funds for the Eagles Autism Foundation.
My History: Climb for a Cause
I believe in something I call “Climb for a Cause.”
When I was 11, I climbed Mount Kilimanjaro (19,341 feet) and used that climb to raise money for causes I care about, including Humane Animal Partners (HAP) in Delaware and a local orphanage in Tanzania.
Since then, I’ve continued trekking in places like Machu Picchu and Rainbow Mountain (17,060 feet), which you can see in the photos below. These experiences showed me that I can use my love for adventure to support causes that matter to me.
A Personal Connection
Autism is something I’ve learned more about through school and my community, and I’ve seen how important support and understanding are for families.
I am honored to transform my Everest trek into a fundraiser for EAF because it connects my love for the Eagles with a cause that helps people right here at home.
Where Your Donation Goes
100% of the funds raised go directly to the Eagles Autism Foundation to support autism research and community grants. This trek is completely self-funded, so every donation goes straight to the cause.
Please Join My Journey
I hope you’ll join me on this journey. Any donation—big or small—helps support the autism community and brings me one step closer to my goal.
Thank you so much for your support.
