A MESSAGE FROM Maria Geffen’s 5K
Dear friends,
This year, I will join the entire Eagles organization and thousands of others from the community in participating in the Eagles Autism Challenge. As a mom of an autistic child, and a neuroscientist who is studying the development of the brain mechanisms for auditory processing disorder in autism, I’m running to help people like my son have better lives.
The Eagles event is committed to funding innovative autism research and care programs with the goal of advancing scientific breakthroughs. Every dollar of participant-raised funds will go directly towards the Eagles Autism Foundation, as together we take action for autism, not only in Philadelphia, but around the world. I hope you will consider making a donation towards my fundraising goal to help make a difference in the autism community.
